Troy Williams, RN, MSN 

Troy Williams is the Chief Quality Officer at Zuckerberg San Francisco General Hospital and Trauma Center (ZSFG). He has worked at ZSFG for the past 22 years in multiple roles including, the Clinical Director of Psychiatric Emergency Services, Nurse Manager for Inpatient Psych Forensics and Director of Risk Management.  As the Chief Quality Officer for ZSFG, he assists in setting the strategic vision for quality and safety and provides leadership for medical center-wide efforts to continuously improve the safety, effectiveness, efficiency, patient centeredness, equity, and timeliness of healthcare services for patients served at ZSFG.  Troy has taken the lead in various initiatives at ZSFG including the implementation Just Culture, developing the Critical Incident Response Team (supporting 2 ^nd victims) and developing programs to promote safety for “At Risk” patients.  In his current role, he oversees Risk Management, Regulatory Affairs, Medical Staff Services, Performance Improvement, Patient Safety, Infection Control, Environmental Health and Safety and the Quality Data Center.
